FASHION ALERT:Designer K.Borgella 2011 spring collection

Designer Kareen Borgella has journeyed a long way to her success. She was the technical designer for notable fashion brands such as Armani Exchange, J.Crew, Joyce Leslie, Marco Ecko's Ecko Red, and many more. December 2nd will be her debut for the "K. Borgella  Collection". The ingenious designer uses  dip dye which is a very different and impressive technique. The K Borgella collection is made for women who want to make a statement; even  Kareen Borgella describes her line as ''feminine  pieces coated  with charm and character"; just an instinctive aspiration  to create beautiful things for fashionistas. Above are two gorgeous pieces from the K Borgella collection. My favorite outfit is look number two; the electric purple leggings with the sequins is definitely an outfit that can be worn to an award show to stand out.  Check out the K.Borgella  exclusive collection available at  www.KBorgella.com. Still not satisfied?  You can also find the designer wear at local Long Island and NYC boutiques...Glamour Gurl In and Out!

Located in a loft on Broadway in the heart of Soho was the Brian Wood and Alpha Industries collaboration on flight  jackets. I want to start off by saying that I am a big fan of vintage, and it is safe to say that these bombers have that look to it. I admire the fact that the designers made their point across for each era in the unisex jackets. My favorite jacket was the 1960's, I love the fact that Jimi Hendrix was used as a part of the graphics for the jacket.  The event was also a celebration for Alpha Industries's 50th anniversary. Alpha Industries has been making MA-1 FLIGHT JACKETS SINCE THE 1950's. Also, Alpha Industries is more than just an iconic fashion brand,  it is also a part of American history. Throughout the past years the company has made outerwear for the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine corps. Which era is your favorite jacket?

FASHION WEEK:SAINT WOBIL

I was very happy to have attended the Saint Wobil  high profile fashion event by designer Darius at Studio 450. The couture designer's gowns left me speechless. I must say his collection is the Alexander Mcqueen finale collection mixed with modern day ballroom. The pieces are fit for a queen. My favorite is the red dress with the mesh (see above on the left, next to the Nigerian designer). The white dress on the right would be a perfect wedding gown. The gown is exceptional and should be featured in top magazines such as the W magazine. The designer also showed his sophisticated mens wear. This collection was the best I have seen all fashion week, and could clearly see his creative instincts. hard work. and dedication shine through his works. Hands down, I give the collection five stars! Glamour Girl In And Out!
