PHARRELL WILLIAMS PRESENTS KIDULT!!!

I must start off by saying this was not an ordinary event just to meet the Grammy Award winning artist  and producer Pharrell, but better yet a way to empower the youth and expose them to entrepreneurs  in many fields other than the music industry, such as the fields of business, fashion, law, media, journalism and much more. The event showed me that Pharell is more than just talented, but he is also ahumanitarian because he cares about the kids'  future as tomorrow's lawyers, teachers,  doctors, and etc. When it came to Pharrell Williams's talents, I was always a big fan, but this youth conference took me beyond that. The event was filled with experienced people in the industry such as Datwon Thomas who is the CEO / advisor of  Global Grind  and Boss Lady Simone Kapsalides who is the host/content manager of drjay.com / djpremium.com. My favorite part was the "How to Change the World in 90 Days" panel; it opened my eyes to the importance of youth advocacy, which is something I strayed away from. I am proud to say that I was a part of the 1st generation conference of kidult. All day I was surrounded by mentors and other people who shared the same dreams as myself.

Being in a room full of ambitious people was captivating. Pharrell even had a luncheon with us featuring the multi talented Diggy Simmons, asking questions that trouble today's youth. I would like to thank the the team of kidult, the Co- Founder & amp Chief Mimi Valdes, and Pharrell williams. At a time like this when negativity of the recession brings us down, it took kidult to lift my spirits. Overall the event gets 5 out of 5 stars!
