NEW YORK FASHION WEEK:STEPHEN BURROWS RETURN TO THE RUNWAY

 

At last our favorite designer Stephen Burrows makes  a come back bringing tasteful pieces to the runway .Stephen burrows inspiration for fall 2011 was ''EGG SHAPES ,STRIPES,PLAIDS AND PRINT COMBINED",also soft dressing and stretch  fabrics.The show was fabolous and most of all I love that the designer used print  followed by vibrant colors such as red .To top the show off the models strut the runway with christian loboutins .Among attendees was legendary stylist June Ambrose,Bethann Hardison,Andre Leone Talley,Tyson Beckford just to name a few.This was no ordinary  show the models stopped in the middle of the run way to pose and even twirled while coming down the runway .My favorite outfit was the long black dress above second to last pic  with  the stripe print and the v shape infront covered by mesh.I am a big mesh fan.The stripes in most of the dresses were opposite but still mixed well.Overall great show!

SAINT WOBIL(FASHION WEEK)

 
There was a Winter Wonderland  for Saint Wobil at Studio 450. It is not a surprise that Darius Wobil was acknowledge  in Italia Vogue.The models strut the runway with boy cut bob"s while Rhianna's only girl in the world song was playing.I love the whole collection but I am really obsessed with the red leotard.Yet again Saint Wobil never fails to impress me with executing the true meaning of couture.I must say the designer is a genius the way he cuts the garments to fit every curve of a women's body.Overall another great show from saint wobil.
